Selling alone is no longer sufficient to approach the market today. In Customer Business Development, the individual can handle either an external OR internal responsibility.
Customer business development (External role): Your prime responsibility is to develop short and long-term strategies and identify business building opportunities via collaborative partnerships to create Joint Value for both P&G and customer. You have the unique obligation to serve as the voice of the Customer to our Company and categories. You will have the chance to experience high level of leadership & communication skills in your daily & monthly planning and via interaction with customers.
Commercial Operation (Internal role): You will be responsible on a brand key performance measures via setting the vision, strategies and direction; while leading the execution of product and commercial innovations. Work closely with multi-function teams to ensure delivering all brand’s key fundamentals with excellence. You will be given the responsibility of developing plans to win with customers and channels by making every store a growth engine for P&G brands by leveraging the strategies and tools to drive growth in sales, share and return on investment.
You start your career as an intern for 3-6 months, you will help individual customers (whether retail and distributors) build their sales, market share and profit. By doing this, you ensure growing consumer demand for P&G brands. You will have the opportunity to interact with teams from Finance, Brand, Product Supply, and Management System. You will have an assigned area and customers, where you sell and merchandise P&G brands, carrying out P&G trade plans in each of your stores. The internship is aimed at exposing you to the different dimensions of the Customer Business Development world in P&G as well as giving you the opportunity to get the flavor of the market early on. This 3-6 months period will act as an on boarding of the role. Upon successful completion of the internship, you will be offered a permanent managerial position and by then, you should be equipped with all what it takes to have a vertical start up as either Customer Business Development Section Manager or Commercial Operations section manager.

Summary of Job Requirements:
Minimum education of BA or BS with good academic results.
Strong skills in leadership, and excellent in communication.
Good command of the English & local language
Travel to local customers at least 40% of time.
Must have a valid driver's license
